Welp, I think I can do this. It’s a bit ironic. I’m an author, but I’ve always been insecure about my reading — especially reading out loud.
I did a bunch of research to find out why I am/was so bad at it. I was happy to find that it isn’t because I’m stupid — the reason I feared. Anyhow, I don’t think I have a reading problem as much as I have a eye problem. My eyes like to go way faster than my mouth. This gets me lost and screws me up. I started working on training my eyeballs to chill two weeks ago and I think it’s finally working. Yay!
Here’s a sample of the audiobook I’m recording for Dare. Thanks for everybody who said, “It’s good!” That was encouraging enough for me to take on the whole book. I hope you like it.
